Jon is passionate about photography & has been for well over twenty years. This passion, combined with the wish to create a successful business saw the birth of Jon Harrison PHOTOGRAPHY.

Treating each commission individually, whether its wedding photography or a portraiture shoot, allows Jon to focus on the clients specific requirements leading to a relaxed & enjoyable experience.

Although learning his trade & developing his 'creative eye' using medium format & 35mm film equipment, Jon has fully embraced the digital revolution and uses Nikon digital equipment for all his wedding & portraiture commissions. Coming from a film background certainly gives a greater knowledge & understanding of photographic techniques, unfortunately something which is becoming less & less prevalent these days.

Largely focussing on wedding photography in York and around the North Yorkshire & West Yorkshire areas, Jon offers a full range of packages and products. Coverage from simple civil ceremonies through to the more comprehensive full day packages, Jon has something to offer every couple, whilst providing exceptional service & value.

Amongst the products available are fantastic 'Artemis' & 'Belllissimo' wedding albums from Loxley Colour Professional Labs. These albums are of superb quality, with flexible templates allowing Jon to design the layout to the clients' exact requirements. Further products include vibrant, modern 'Acrylic Prints' & 'Canvas Prints' displaying your images in best possible way.

Jon's style and skill as a photographer has seen his work appear in the following publications: Digital Photo, Digital SLR Photography, Digital Camera and Professional Imagemaker magazines.

A selection of images also earned Jon the title of Digital SLR Photography magazines 'PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR 2007' presented at an awards ceremony in London in September 2007.
